Eastern Washtenaw Multicultural Academy first opened their doors in 2004 to serve students Pre-K through 12th grade in a positive and enriching environment. Our school is staffed by highly qualified teachers who effectively manage our small classroom sizes and facilitate an environment that allows all students to be seen and heard equally regardless of race, religion, or socio-economic status. Our high school exemplifies our mission to create independent and knowledgeable individuals by offering students a choice of over 300 class subject options that are completed online through Michigan Virtual classrooms, while having the additional support of an in-classroom instructor. Furthermore, we have special programs to include an ELL program, starting in Preschool and are maintained all the way through high school, a foreign language curriculum, a full day kindergarten, electives such as art and gym, and an afterschool program that includes tutoring, karate, cheerleading, and computer club.
