HYTE Reveals Updated Y70 Touch Infinite Chassis

HYTE has introduced the Y70 Touch Infinite, an updated version of its popular Y70 Touch mid-tower case. This new release follows the discontinuation of the original model due to difficulties in sourcing the high-resolution touchscreen. The Y70 Touch Infinite boasts significant upgrades in touchscreen technology, featuring a 14.5-inch LCD capacitive touchscreen with a resolution of 688×2560, 5-point touch support, 350 nits brightness, a 1500:1 contrast ratio, an 89° viewing angle, and a reduced response time of 20ms. These improvements offer a more responsive and visually appealing user experience compared to the original Y70 Touch, which had a 14.1-inch display with a resolution of 1100×3840, 10-point touch capability, 300 nits brightness, a 1200:1 contrast ratio, an 85° viewing angle, and a 30ms response time.

The chassis measures 470x320x470 mm and is designed for E-ATX motherboards. It supports CPU coolers up to 180mm in height, power supplies up to 235mm in length, and 4-slot graphics cards up to 422mm long. For storage, the Y70 series can accommodate either two 3.5-inch hard drives or four 2.5-inch hard drives.

The Y70 series offers robust cooling capabilities, featuring ten fan mounts distributed strategically across the case. The top section can support either three 120mm or two 140mm fans and is compatible with 360/280 radiators up to 68mm thick, including fans. The right side panel can accommodate three 120mm or two 140mm fans and is compatible with 360/280 radiators up to 125mm thick. The bottom section can hold three 120mm or two 140mm fans up to 32mm thick, while the rear of the case supports one 120mm or 140mm fan, compatible with 120/140 radiators.

The IO panel, located below the touchscreen, features a USB 3.2 Gen2 10Gbps Type-C port, two USB 3.2 Gen1 5Gbps Type-A ports, and a 3.5mm combo audio jack, ensuring ample connectivity for various peripherals. Additionally, HYTE offers a touchscreen upgrade kit for users of the original Y70 model, enabling them to add the new touchscreen functionality. This kit is part of HYTE’s initiative to provide versatile and customizable options for their users.

Moreover, HYTE has unveiled three fresh color options for the Y70 series: Strawberry Milk, Taro Milk, and Blueberry Milk, providing additional aesthetic selections for customization.

The Y70 Touch Infinite is priced at roughly $379.99, while the touchscreen upgrade kit costs about $199.99. Additionally, the new color variations of the Y70 case are available for approximately $219.99.
