Yeyian Phoenix Gaming PC Review

Final Thoughts

When it comes to buying a pre-built gaming PC there are so many options to choose from. When I look at these systems there are a few major factors I take into consideration which are price, how its advertised, build quality, and of course performance. Starting off with price, as mentioned earlier in this review the price of this system currently is $2599.99. I was able to spec out almost the exact system on Amazon for $2247.16. So what does that extra $350 get you? Well, the system comes completely built so that is going to save you at least 1-2 hours. Yeyian also offers lifetime tech support, which is definitely nice to have. If something were to break you can reach out to them directly instead of having to go through the RMA process with the part manufacturer.

How is this system advertised? On Yeyian’s website we can see the general specifications of the system, but for the graphics card, memory, AiO, power supply, SSD, and motherboard we do not know exactly what we are getting. The images on their website show the TUF gaming card from ASUS and the T-FORCE memory, which our system had. However the pictures show Yeyian’s own AiO and our system had an MSI one and the motherboard shown was not the one in our system either. While not the biggest deal to most it is worth mentioning.

Coming over to build quality I think that Yeyian did a good job here. All of our components were installed correctly, the cable management was good, and we had a really clean looking build. It was a bit weird that the front fans were set to DC mode for some reason. This caused the system to be quite loud out of the box and I had to go into the BIOS and set them to PWM mode. As I mentioned for a beginner going into the BIOS could be quite the task.

When it comes to performance Yeyian has put together a solid gaming PC. You have one of the best gaming processors in the Intel Core i9-14900KF and they have teamed it with the RTX 4070 Ti Super and 32GB of DDR5. This is going to give you a PC that is capable of 1440p gameplay at high frame rates and 4K gameplay at over 60 FPS. On top of that if you are doing any type of creative work or streaming this system can definitely handle that as well. Our load test did see the CPU get up to 94C, which is quite high.

At the end of the day I think that Yeyian’s gaming PCs are a great choice if you are looking for a pre-built. As they continue to grow in the United States they are for sure a brand to watch out for! Overall ThinkComputers gives the Yeyian Phoenix Gaming PC an 8 out of 10 score.
