Patriot Transporter Overview
The Transporter has what I call a candy bar shape, as it is more or less a rectangle. For those wondering the official dimensions are 0.34“(L) x 3.94”(W) x 1.54“(H) (0.86 cm (L) x 10 cm (W) x 3.9 cm (H)). On the main side of the drive there is a large Transporter logo and it does let us know we have the 2TB version.
The opposite side of the Drive has the Patriot logo on it. The outer casing of the drive is made of metal, which is nice to see.
As I mentioned this is one of the thinnest portable solid state drives that I’ve seen. At only 0.34-inches thin this drive is going to be very easy to put in your pocket, and it is not going to take up much space at all in a backpack or laptop bag.
On one end of the drive you’ll find a USB-C connection. As a reminder this is a USB 3.2 gen 2×2 drive.
