CyberPowerPC CK60 Mechanical Keyboard Review

Usage & Final Thoughts

I’ve been using the CK60 for the past few weeks and I’ve really been enjoying it. The components and materials that CyberPowerPC have brought together in this keyboard really make for a wonderful experience. Whether I was gaming or I was just typing out review like this I felt extremely comfortable and sort of in a “flow” which is what you want when you are sitting down at your keyboard.

The aluminum casing really gives this keyboard a solid feel and the extra sound-dampening layers give it a pretty good sound. Below is a sound test of what it is like to type on this keyboard with its Gateron Red linear switches.

When you do move down to 60% you do lose some functionality such as your arrow keys, function row, and more. Luckily CyberPowerPC does provide their own software for this keyboard so it is pretty easy to add your own custom functions and commands. The best part about 60% is that you open up more room on your desk, which is especially good if you are a gamer as you’ll have more room for your mouse.

Sadly CyberPowerPC only offers this keyboard in either a white and black version, both with the Gateron Red switches. When they showed us these keyboards at CES they had a bunch of different colorways, materials, and switches to choose from and they actually talk about this on their website. The whole idea is for the user to be able to customize their own keyboard with the components they want (much like CyberPowerPC’s PC builder), but as of right now that has not materialized yet. So only having one switch option available is a bit disappointing.

The quality on this keyboard is really good too, I mean it weighs 2.8 lbs! This is thanks to its CNC Aluminum frame. On top of that you have PBT keycaps so the keyboard is going to look as good as new and not show any shine or wear.

While CyberPowerPC lists this keyboard for $149 on their website you can actually pick it up on Amazon for $94.95! Considering the quality and materials this is an excellent deal! Overall ThinkComputers gives the CyberPowerPC CK60 Mechanical Keyboard a 9 out of 10 score!
