CyberPowerPC CK60 Mechanical Keyboard Review

CyberPowerPC CK60 Overview

The CK60 is currently available in black and white versions, as you can see we have the black version. The first thing you’ll really notice about this keyboard when you take it out of the box is actually how heavy it is. It weighs in at 2.8 lbs, which is heavier than some laptops! Most of this weight is thanks to the CNC aluminum chassis.

This is of course a 60% keyboard, which I always say is as small as you can really go without loosing major everyday functionality. With 60% you lose your entire function row, arrow keys, and number pad. With that you have a very small and compact keyboard, the official dimensions of the CK60 are 300mm (L) x 110mm (W) x 39mm (H). Being this small means you have more room on your desk and more room to move your mouse around.

The black version of the keyboard will come with black keycaps that have white legends, no see through legends here. The keycaps are thermal resistant PBT keycaps. If you are not familiar with PBT keycaps they do not show shine or wear like standard ABS keycaps, plus they feel much better. Once you use a keyboard with PBT keycaps it really is hard to go back!

Under the keycaps we have Gateron Red linear mechanical switches. These switches have a actuation force of 43g with a pre-travel distance of 2.3mm and 4mm of total travel. Red switches are of course preferred by gamers. The keyboard does offer a hot-swappable design if you did want to change the switches out later down the line.

Looking at the keyboard from the side we can see that it does sit at a pretty decent angle. There are no feet on this keyboard so there are no further angle adjustments. It is also worth noting that the keyboard does feature bottom and top high-density foam to increase noise dampening.

The top-edge of the keyboard is pretty plain except for the gold inlay that has the CyberPowerPC logo laser-etched into it. This gold inlay also continues into the bottom of the keyboard, where you’ll find four rubber feet. In one corner of the top-edge is your USB-C connection for the included cable. We can also see how the bottom corners of the keyboard are sort of “cut off” it definitely makes this keyboard stand out a bit.
