A Look Inside the Lian Li SUP-01
To get into the main compartment of the case the tempered glass side panel has a tool-less system with a tab towards the top that you just pull on and the panel will come right off. With the panel removed we can see that the inside of the case is all white to match the white theme of the case.
Taking a look at the motherboard mount it will support mini-ITX, Micro-ATX, and ATX motherboards. It also has the appropriate holes for back-connect motherboards like ASUS’s BTF and MSI’s Project Zero. There are four large cable routing holes with white grommets installed around the edges of the motherboard tray.
Lian Li does include a PCIe 4.0 riser card with the case. This is a half-height card that is also white to match the case.
In the bottom of the case is a mirror, which I think is the first time I’ve seen something like that stock on the case. Under this mirror are two 2.5-inch SSD mounts.
The opposite side panel also has the same tool-less design so it is easy to take off as well. With it removed we can see that there are three included 120mm fans, which are in a exhaust position. These fans are pre-installed in a cooling bracket. This bracket will also support two 140mm fans. There is another cooling bracket right next to it which can also support the same amount of fans or radiators up to 360mm with a total thickness of 76mm. Both brackets a full removable from the case for easy installation of fans and radiators and have rubber feet which attenuate unwanted vibrations.
Behind these cooling brackets you’ll find a bunch of velcro straps to organize your cables and you can see how you’ll route everything from the front of the case to the back.
The bottom compartment of the case will house your power supply and storage. When it comes to the power supply this case will support ATX power supplies up to 220mm in length. Towards the front of the case is a hard drive cage with one removable tray. It will support either two 2.5-inch SSDs or two 3.5-inch hard drives.
