Dear Parents:

It is my pleasure to welcome you to the Extended Before and After School Program.

To fulfill our mission, our program has a highly qualified supervisor, lead assistant, and instructional assistants that make up a 1:12 adult-to-child ratio. All staff has met clearly defined requirements and is carefully selected to ensure your child and family experiences a positive, safe, and supportive environment.

A variety of activities are included in the daily schedule. The daily schedule is to complement the school schedule, providing children with a healthy snack after school, a quiet time for homework, and the opportunity to play with friends and develop respectful relationships. Projects and games are included in the options for children throughout the week. Our goal is to balance the planned activities to support each child's development and interests. Computer time will be for educational and homework use only.

The Before and After School Program utilizes the school's positive discipline programs with an emphasis on Character Counts to provide consistency throughout the school and extended school-day hours.

Before and After School Program 2008/2009

Before school program would be from 7:30-8:30. After school program will begin at 3:30 and is available until 5:30. Children will need to be picked up; no bus service would be available. Children will sign up with request on a monthly schedule.

Tuition:

Tuition fee is for Before School Program which includes breakfast is $4.00 per day or full week is 20.00 which is a discount.

Tuition fee for After School Program which includes snack is 7.00 per day or full week 30.00 which is a discount.

Each student has a registration fee. Registration fee goes toward equipment and art supplies for the after/before school program. Registration fee for the school year 2008-2009 is $10.00 per family . Registration fee guarantees students spot in the program.

Tuition is due every Monday, or the first day of the week your child attends. A $5.00 late payment fee will be added to all late payments. You may prepay a month an advance. Invoices will be printed in Jan 09 for child care tax reimbursement. Those that use Flex spending at their business may request a monthly statement to turn in for reimbursement.

Students will be limited and priority of "available" student spaces will be given in individuals who are enrolled full time-five days a week.
